FAQ

  • Do you have an office space?

Not yet! We are still looking for the perfect space to set up shop, so until then, we get creative :) If home or out and about isn’t suitable for you, please reach out and we’ll see if we can find a good alternative.

  • I'm not queer...Can I still see you?

Absolutely! I’m open about my identity as a way of indicating that I’m a safe space for other queer people, but you don’t need to be part of the community or know anything about queerness for me to work with you. These sessions are about you and supporting you, and my identity doesn’t need to be a part of that at all.

  • Do you offer Medicare rebates?

Not yet! I’m working towards my Mental Health accreditation but it’s a hell of a process. If the full fee is not affordable for you, please reach out to see if there are any sliding scale spots available.

  • Do I need a referral?

Nope! You are welcome to self-refer, or if you are already working with a different service and would prefer them to refer you, that’s okay too. Please send any service referrals through via email.

  • How many sessions will I need?

Good question! There is no right answer…some people prefer to do short-term therapy to help them through a crisis or a tricky time. Others see a therapist regularly for years. You’re not locked in to anything, and we can discuss what you think you’ll need during your first session or your initial call.

  • Can I bring my kids to a session?

It depends on your situation and the age of the children. Babies are always welcome - having an infant shouldn’t be a barrier to receiving support. Children are also welcome in Family Support sessions. For individual therapy, it generally isn’t appropriate for children to be present.
